Lokalförvaltningen is one of the largest managers of publicly owned premises in Sweden and manages approximately 2.1 million square meters across 1,500 management properties and about 3,000 buildings. Total revenue is approximately EUR 220 million.
Lokalförvaltningen has a project portfolio that handles about 1,000 projects every year worth approximately EUR 142 million– primarily new buildings, conversions and maintenance projects.
When the organization carried out a public procurement of a project management tool in order to improve planning, follow-up and management of approximately 1,000 projects in its project portfolio, Lokalförvaltningen selected Antura Projects.
Lokalförvaltningen needed to improve information management related to its projects in general and thus support efficient governance, processing and follow-up within its own organization and in relation to external stakeholders. Executives at various levels also needed to produce data for a variety of decision-making purposes.
In response, the organization chose to procure a web-based project management system whose features included activity planning, cost management, resource management and time reporting, document and version management, and the capacity to structure workflows via various project models.
Lokalförvaltningen chose Antura’s total solution, Antura Projects, which is able to meet all requirement specifications while offering superior ease of use.
Implementation of Antura Projects will continue in fall 2013 with the rollout of several key functionalities, such as Project Model Support, Document Management, Time Planning and Cost Management.
Several integrations with other systems that Lokalförvaltningen uses, including the ERP system “Horisonten”, will also be performed as part of the implementation.
