Antura is participating in the SIS/TK 510 working group for the purposes of developing new ISO standards for portfolio management, project governance, program management as well as terminology.

As a work model, projects are common in all businesses and approximately one third of the world’s global gross domestic product is project-related. Today, there are a lot of different methods and tools for project management and there is money to be saved in making project work more efficient. The global standard for project management, ISO 21500 “Guidance on Project Management – Concepts and Processes,” was published in Swedish in April 2013 under “SS-ISO 21500” and is the first in a series of new ISO standards in this area. The standardization work continues with new works in portfolio management, project governance, program management as well as terminology.

Patrik Strömbeck is representing Antura in the work group that is busy developing these new international standards. Before new ISO standards can be established, large-scale processes with audits and reports from various work groups around the world need to take place first. Antura views its participation in this work group as very important and we hope to be able to share our extensive experiences from implementing PPM solutions as well as developing companies’ capabilities in project and portfolio management.
